Ok this is getting really frustrating.

Anyone here able to help me. I used to be able to d/load from sites such as Sendspace, Megaupload etc with no problems.

However recently I've started having issues. It seems that now, whenever I tryd'loading from these sites, it gets to 99% and fails to complete. Really annoying! I've tried increasing virtual memory. No change.

Running latest version Explorer. Any suggestions?

ps I'm no techie so simple explanations/instructions would be greatly appreciated!

^ ^ That advice doesn't make any sense at all. Can you divulge some more information so that someone that actually knows how to troubleshoot can give you some proper advice and reasoning for your problem?

Re: Help please with downloading??!!

I can't change to F/Fox as I don't own the PC i use to d/load. It's owned by partner who doesn't wish to change anything.

Can anyone here help and explain why I've been d/loading from such sites without any problems for over a year and its only been in the last 3 months that these probs have started??!!

Re: Help please with downloading??!!

Did this problem only surface after installing the latest IE7? Could it be some security setting?

You could install FF to see if it works, and then uninstall FF from the computer. Just to verify if all is good. But best bet would be some new security feature in IE7.
