With the dual moitors you can have the regular screen and the second can be an overhead tactical/strategy map.

Sounds awesome.

Re: Supreme Commander

I meant to DL it when I got home from work yesterday, but I got too busy working on my overclocking. It should be ready when I get home today....so I'm gonna fire that bitch up ASAP.

I'm playing Company of Heroes right now too. Awesome game, but I keep running into parts that I can't pass. Just got to Cherbourg and when it comes time to defend it (for 30 freaking minutes!!! :x) I get my ass kicked every time. What can I do when they have limitless tanks to throw at me? :what

Re: Supreme Commander

try planting a sherman with engineers and 2 sets of troops with sticky bombs at entry points would usually do the trick .. works better if u have a second sherman that can flank the incoming tanks ....

Re: Supreme Commander

Cool...I'll try that. :Bingo:

It's an awesome game, but damn can it be hard as hell sometimes!!! :x

Re: Supreme Commander

yah ... its one of the best RTS game that i've played and its hard 'cos they tried to keep it as close to what happened in reality as possible with the AI .. not like most other RTS which u could tank rush the opponent in almost every situation ... tried that a couple of times and it actually failed :)

Re: Supreme Commander

I love it so far.

Frame rates can dip when a bunch of explosions go off...but DAMN does it look good.

Re: Supreme Commander

loving it, also....

on my machine graphics could be better, but it loses playability, and i think C&C3 looks better.

as for the strategy part, almost perfect, AI sometimes doesnt adjust its tactics, and keeps going over and over the same thing...

I got through it by using the down time before the attack to lay TONS of mines at all the choke points, that way all the tanks pouring across were at least partially damaged to start with.

I also like how the skirmish is super tough....typically in other game, even on hard, the computer is a push over one you get your base up and running. But I am constantly getting my ass handed to me by the AI in CoH.

Re: Supreme Commander

I tried the mine tactic as well, but the engineers lay them so freaking slow that I'm nowhere near done when they start attacking. :what
