how to recover a word document!
Re: how to recover a word document!
Assuming you had Word's autorecover feature turned on, Word should open up with a list of recoverable files after a crash or power failure. Otherwise:
- Click on the Open icon
- Navigate to where your recovery files are located (you can find out where in Preferences, File Locations)
- Click on Show All
- Each backup copy is named as "AutoRecover save of "
- Open the file you want
- Save
That's from Word's help btw ;)
