X Box 360 Prices in UK?

I am going to pick one of these up pretty soon (Gears of War and Pro Evo are just too good to resist) but I'm really worried that I'm going to get shafted on the price i.e. pay top dollar for it but then see it ?40 cheaper in a matter of weeks?

How likely is this to happen, are thee set times when console prices reduce?

what ? I didnt think they'd drop prices on the xbox 360. Microsoft has been selling each unit for a loss since it was introduced......
