god i love it. fuck XBOX and PS3, this thing is the best of the 3 for ppl looking to have fun and not debate vid card performance. we had 4 ppl playing bowling, baseball and golf on staurday night.

just curious, why would nintendo not catch this? it doesn't make sense that they'd allow remote controls to go with weak straps.

Really?? My wife wants to get one as she feel she will be able to compete with me as, the controler will be new for both of us, thus I won't have a huge advantage. Did any of the women like playing the games on the Wii?

i played this a few hours this weekend with some other people, it is actually really fun. it is pretty cool how the thing can track your movements so well. i played bowling and tennis alot and it is really entertaining. i played a bit of zelda but not enough to get into it much because i had to get back to work. but the thing is really cool. i'd like to get one, and also the review for this new rayman game looks hilarious: [youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOCsVfSmb1E[/youtube]

finally got my hands on the wii ... its fun as hell and even our non-gamer friends are hooked on it just 'cos theres so much interactivity with the motion sensor feature .. i had thought that there would be a huge learning curve in getting used to the remote but its really easy ... boxing from wii sports is fun but tiring as hell though ... good for a workout if you're too lazy for gym

^ agreed, My wife HATES video games (and most sports), but I talked her into trying wii sports at the store. She has now been calling around trying to find one in stock as she loved it.

we have one at work. life of the party. everyone in the company swings by to play.

you have to be a fucking moron to let it fly out of your hands or break the strap though. there is a threshold as to how hard you can swing and can typically get more power out of just a wrist motion ..... there is no sense in swinging [i]that[/i] hard.

can't wait for a beefier tennis game as well as the ping-pong game. :D
