I know it's cliche to say this whenever a new generation comes out, but these things are the most powerful video cards ever made. I'm talking true 2x performance over the 7900 series. Read the [URL="http://enthusiast.hardocp.com/article.html?art=MTIxOCwxLCxoZW50aHVzaWFzdA=="]review [/URL] on [H]ardOCP to see what I mean. They are just unreal. 768 megs of memory?!?!? Well my xfx 7800 GT is still pretty decent. Down the line I'll probably upgrade to the same exact card and bridge it with my MotherBoard and get another 2 gigs of ram. Only thing about my mobo it wont be true 16x or with 2 cards; true 32x, I think only the graphs memory will double.

don't spend the money on a 2nd card SLI didn't get the expected results according to the money you have to spend for a 2nd card

i would try to get a cheaper 8800gts and would result on nearly 2 times the perfomance of a couple 7800gtx on SLI (sli gives +20% perf on g7 series if you are very lucky )
