Was this never released for the XBox 360?? I went to a local game store this weekend to buy a used copy of this game and the salesperson said this game was never made for the 360 :shock:

I'm not getting it with any other games and there are no visible scratches on the disk, I also ran the updates before game-play. algy, conditional question here.

1. do you have a HD TV?
2. if so, then how fucking sick are the enviornments? i mean, could you even expect how good this damn game looks? everything out in the distance... wow.

the only thing i have ever seen that compares is EQ2 with a very very very expensive graphics card.

[COLOR=orange][/COLOR] [COLOR=orange]I don't have HD, but my buddy has 2 so we took one downstairs to his den and played it like a LAN Party. It was silly, and I think that Gears is just starting to push the 360's capabilities. I've never had any issues with lag or freezups during heavy action, it's so smooth. The maps are amazing and the attention to detail is simply sick. I can't stress the need to get this game...[/COLOR] [COLOR=orange][/COLOR] [COLOR=orange]As far as Live play, it's tough at times, seems to be some professionals evolve in less than a week. I would like to see some CTF acction, which currently is not supported; however, 360 does provide game update and map downloads, so I hope to see EPIC Games utilize it.[/COLOR]

I played Gears of War for the first time last night on my buddy's HD. All I can say is :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: !!!!!!

And it's not just the graphics either...the gameplay is awesome too. The Hammer of Dawn might be the coolest weapon in any game...ever.
