downloaded this today... not sure when it was released, but didnt see a thread, so i figured id start one. im tired of winamp... crashes all the time for some reason, and ive always thought wmp was okay, but this is an improvement over 10, check it out if you are interested

I gave up on winamp years ago. WMP isn't as bad as people make it out to be. thanks pel, downloading now

I think winamp is being released with a notorious piece of malware called NSIS. google "NSIS Ads".

I just got it 2 weeks and had to wipe out my install of XP to get rid of the popups. No cleaner could get rid of it.

Yea, I stopped using winamp on that last upgrade...just doesn't work right.

ive been using winamp stince day 1 and i think its a great player but i stopped updating since version 5.24 so i have no idea about the malware ... if it aint broke why fix it

I was thinking the same thing. Why I tried to update to the current version only brings up more questions about myself.

Winamp's great...WMP is too much bloatware and bogs things down....on the other hand v.11 isn't too bad so far; seems to work a little better then 10 did.

Media Player Classic rocks...just like WMP 6.4...simple, quick & easy :RockOn:
