not that I know of... might have better luck buying a 6-ft usb extender cable.

that's what I was afraid of -- I would need to hide the cable, though, so it would have to be more like 40 ft to have enough slack to snake it around out of sight. Any clue if there is a loss of signal when the cable is really long like that?

I could be wrong, but I think the max length is about 19ft, so you're not going to get any signal at all thru a 40ft USB cable.
What do you want to do anyway? Update your iPod from your toilet? ;)
