Re: My New Toy

Yeah. I've seen that a lot listed at places like Fry's for $100 and such. I can't believe they're still around. :p

Re: My New Toy

from the look of it, the monochrome screen is the only negative points I'd give it, how's the sound quality?

Re: My New Toy

a frind of mine got his zen micro for a birthday present, and when i heard the sound of a mp3 set on the earphones, it was great with a lot of bass,

he connected it on a home cinema system and said that it has perfect sound, better than his dvd player with original audio cd.

but of course, it can be that his thompson dvd player does a lousy job with audio cds...

Re: My New Toy

well, the earbuds aren't the best, but they aren't horrible either...full volume drowns out the outside nicely (esp. in the gym). Haven't mucked around with the EQ settings yet; lots of times I don't care for those as they throw too much in. Backlight's good in the dark; clearly seen. Yea would love a color screen and the like, but I don't think I'll be watching vids or viewing pics on these things anytime soon anyway :p and it's a hard drive in a pinch if I need to transfer stuff around.

Using WMP right now to sync and load the thing (which blows ass) as I think I was having issues with their software (I hate brand software as is, just drag-and-drop is all you need to do!)

Re: My New Toy

i downloaded new firmware for my friends player, and it enables the player to be connected to any PC without installing drivers or anything, and of course the support for WMP....

Re: My New Toy

I've got the Zen Sleek and it's great. Drag and drop, easy to navigate and I get over 20 hours of battery life.

Re: My New Toy

There's only one way to do that and I think we all know the answer to that one.
