Firefox problem

A few days ago, I updated Firefox (current version: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; nl; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4) and all of a sudden it doesn't download images anymore (via right mouse click).

When I right mouse click an image and click the "save image as" function, I get the dialogue to save it on my PC, but when I click "save" nothing happens.

Re-installing the software didn't solve the problem.

Anybody know what's wrong and what the solution is?

Big thx in advance cuz I don't feel like switching back to IE

Re: Firefox problem

If you got it to work, fine. I'd suggest a removal and delete the following folders:

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox C:\Documents and Settings\UserNameHere\Application Data\Mozilla

then install Flock. It's built from the Firefox engine, but much better features. It will also support the plugins and great if you blog and or upload pics to Flicr and imagebucket.

Check it out: http://www.flock.com/
