Re: help- how do i capture a screenshot and save it

"print screen"

then paste it into paint or something and save as.

keep in mind a screenshot is going to be big... so if you are posting it on a forum up it to imageshack and use one of their thumbnail links ;)

^ yeah you dont have to paste in in word unless you want to. you can paste it directly in paint, photoshop, etc...

Re: help- how do i capture a screenshot and save it

not sure what you want to capture.

if it's a windows screen, just press PrintScreen, then go to Start/Run, type MSPAINT and hit enter then press control+v and voila.. there's your capture.

now, if you want to capture a screen from a game, most of them use direct3d overlay features, so you won't be able to capture without a program like FRAPS (google it!).

Did you figure this out yet? It's pretty damn simple and you're gonna laugh when you realize just how simple it was.
