Hey all this might sound like a stupid question but how do u use this program. U see what i want to do is this. I have a cd with cue sheets etc. i want to cut the file into smaller mp3's and add the names etc and put them on my ipod. What i am currently doing is this. I use nero and the cue sheet and burn it onto cd. Then because the cd is cda files i then need to use itunes and convert those files into mp3's, and then put in onto my ipod. It takes alot of time. So what i want to do is just cut the file into small mp3's and copy those mp3's into my ipodwith names etc. Hope u all follow this?? i have tried using mp3directcut already and it cuts the files into smaller mpd files. is this supposed to happen and if so what the hell is a mpd file and how do i open it and or convert them into mp3's. Hope i make sense and hope someone can help. Thanks in advance ;)

Re: Mp3directcut

mpd is probably a project file. Audio editing programs all use them to keep track of what you're doing to your original audio file. It's like a psd file for Photoshop.

You need to look for an option to export your cuts or save as.

Re: Mp3directcut

^^^correct

Select the cue you want to save File >> Save split The selected region will now be saved as a new MP3 file
