MTV doesn't sell its old machines, they do donate old old ones to not for profits...

so there is a mac version of office? if so, i know mac can open windows files but will a co workers computer be able to open a mac saved xcel spreadsheet ?..my phone is windows based and i have it sincd to my outlook .. id have to loose that

Of course they can.... For get about the days of file incompatibility... they ovah! The windows based phone on the other hand.... that'd not be osx compatible but if you love it you can boot camp your drive if neccessary.

The macbook is obviously not as souped as the pro, but as far as audio is concerned it's not at all lacking (maybe you wanna max out the RAM but thats always the case). You should be able to do almost anything you can think of with the macbook out of the box... if you require several channels of audio in and out (it has built in Combined optical digital audio input/audio line in (minijack) and another 1 for out) you would wanna get a firewire audio interface... but really, they are fucking great, the screens are a bit smaller but not terribly and you can just plug in an external display with resolution up to 1920 x 1200.

I wonder what pathetic reasons Windows lovers will find to try and trash these babies... you are in for a real fuckin surprise of a treat when you find out how simple yet powerful and stable these latest machines are... it's rather funny looking back actually..

I've already heard of people putting windows on them and it runs windows way better than regular PC's would. Probably because of the archetecture of the motherboards and whatnot.

ive been playin with my new macbook all day.. the thing its alive .. i think it is controlling me..i click here and there and the thing does everything else by itself...its almost scary... right now i got some icon jumping up and down pissed because im writting this ..WTF ,, its alive!!!!
