I can't believe how major of a product it is for Sony. That anouncement dropped their stock by 3.5%. One product dropped it that much is unbelievable concidering that they make so many other things.

Just about most companies besides Sony.

Personally, I?d mention the recent rootkit debacle, the stupid stubborness of sticking too long with their ATRAC audio format before letting an MP3 in their portable players, the almost destruction of perfectly good programs like Acid and SoundForge (they?re getting it right with Acid now, but it took them long enough)...

Remember, those are my personal beefs...I?m not saying that the PS2 sucks (not even close), but I really dislike Sony as a company and their policies towards rhe consumers.
