has any one encounted problems with the ipod?? i having this really bizzare problem with it ... all my files are just pointer files .. they show only file details and they skip to the next file when i try to play them just like how u get dummy playlists when u move files after u have added them in winamp playlists

when i plug in my ipod into my pc ... itunes has this alert that pops up prompting me to sync my music files .. instead of clicking ok i clicked cancel and now i cant get that alert back :(

Re: FAO Ipod users

open my computer, check if you see your ipod as a removable drive, if you do, click tools >> options >> and check "View hidden files + folders"..... then dive into your ipod and head over to where the files are saved..... take a backup of your files.... and then RESET the software for your ipod in iTunes.....

I had all kinds of funky shit happening to my ipod on my recent trip to India and I reset the software.... fixed all my probs

Re: FAO Ipod users

^ This is the major thing scaring me about my new ipod - I am putting stuff on the thing, then deleting it from my PC to make space. I dont want it to go tits up and then I've lost some quality sets

Re: FAO Ipod users

word of advise ... better save the mp3s on a disc for archiving in case your ipod acts up :what
