Can someone let me know what room the mercury server crew are in. I can't find it!

sort the list by room name otherwise you'll have a hell of a time finding it

right click in the room list...choose 'Create Room' .... type in mercuryserver (all lower case) and let the fun begin.

a good tip is to sort by name, click the first nam, then just start pressing "M" on your keyboard and it will cycle through all the choices that begin with that letter

I found it last night but unfortunately on most peoples userames it said Error trying to get file list :x

in case you missed it. do this then click on the name icon up top of the names to sort them alphabetically.

F.A.O. anyone about to go on soulseek for the first time .. get all the music you own then put it onto your drive . then have it open to share . that way i don't have to retype this message to you at a future date before i ban you .music sharing programmes mean just that SHARING . taking music and giving nothing back gets you blocked from all decent shared collections . Also this will mean you don't come back onto this thread whinning that people on soulseek are assholes and that you have to que foreva to get anything

i didn't miss it. i've done it and the room still doesn't come up and occasionally it just freezes soulseek. which really sucks.

The reason no one talks very much on that room is because we already have this. That and most of the people in the room are just simply keeping their computer online to share with their friends.

I always have problems letting people download from me. As I'm on dinosaur dial-up. And luckily I don't have many people who want anything from me.

for me it crashes when i try updating my shares. for example: when i try unsharing a folder and resharing it. it happens all the time. best thing is to just restart soulseek.

there are slsk alterntives out there for macs, but I can't think of any right now. when MercuryEngine comes back we can find the threads about it
