a secretary in our office had put something down on her keyboard that caused about 200 instances of Firefox to open, she tab/alt/del's the task manager, selects all the programs and clicks shut down. well. every computer on the network instantly shut down. and there are a dozen alarms going off in all the desktops.:p :p
glad im not on the network, and now they need my compouter in 10 minutes, so im going home.

Well look at it this way you get to go home early evern if everyone elses computer is now fried

wow. that's crazy.. never heard of anything like that before. what does tab-alt-del do btw? or did you mean ctrl-alt-del? regardless, i wonder why shutting down one box on the network would effect all the others... weird.

Some people have all the luck. Why is your computer not on the network? Or, how did you have the foresight to know not to place your computer on the network?
