I've been having problems with hotmail lately too?
Re: hotmail accounts
no, IMAP isnt another replacement of POP3, its a completely different protocol, since POP3 is for incoming, SMTP is for outgoing, however IMAP handles all emails (incoming and outgoing) on its own.... it doesnt need SMTP (more like wont work with it)
However, but u still need an adress to get Outlook or any other Email-client work. And thats what im looking for ?
:) Krauthead :)
Re: hotmail accounts
no you don't. Outlook 2003 has the address built-in to the client. You can't do it with 2000.
Re: hotmail accounts
a little late for a reply, but over the last week or so, hotmail has kinda cooled off a bit.. i considered moving all my mail to my isp account, but vetod that idea cause merging 3 email addys into 1 would be a PITA.
