here's the deal.... if 10 of you pay $20 a month or 20 of you pay $10 a month, I'll setup a server and hook up nearly every game thats hot and you guys are into.... it'll be YOUR server.... I wont be on it..not much of a gamer ... I'll just configure it and share access to a group who are paying to be on it so you can play whatever you choose

Hey, im playing Kingpin. Its about 8 years old now. Based on the quake II engine. For me its still the best onlinegame. It rox ! Got my own server running already.

i just swa this topic. wow can be setted on a private server, but you have a lots of free public servers online, and not one is so good, becouse there is a small number of plp on it, i had seen once a max of 40 plp online, and it is a small number for so huge world.

havent played the guild wars yet, though. else, right now i dont have any idea on which game could be played by [ms]-ers. and of course there is a big gap between some of us here. there are still some folk, like me, who dont have the newest graphical cards for playing now attractive new games.

havent heard of this day of defeat, will check it out, i tried to start HL2, but as i dont have a DirectX 9.*c i think, with pixel shader v1.1 i cant start it,

i have the only Geforce 4 without that shader support, i think it is mx440.

isnt the CS built on a HL 1 engine?

Look around Newegg, there are a shitload of kick ass cards in the $150-$200 range. Hook yourself up. The 7600GT has everything you want. Only 12 pixel pipelines and 128-bit memory bus, but coming from where you are, you will see a MASSIVE difference.

And no, CS:Source is built on the Source engine.
