Srry if u guys have had this topic b4 but we only just got the playstation portable in england today . so i went out and bought one and purchased a game .. also and this is the point i'm getting at i purchased a 1 gig memory card so could "play mpeg-4 vids" on it .this was one of their big selling points . total package came to ?319 . so i hook up to p.c. and try to find out how to put a few vids on ( paid out ?100 for the gig card for this purpose) only it ain't so fucking easy u gotta be a bleeding genius or uber nerd to suss out how to do it. creating directories here there and everywhere ALSO the twats at sony expect u to cough up $20 for the converter prog . i think iv'e just been :Anal: good and proper i'm suspecting this is so u'll pay out for their films created on their own umd discs . i will neva buy another sony product again

well not after iv'e bought the ps3 anyhows

i like the fact that it plays movies aswell.. it beats buying a portable DVD player.. plus the games look awesome but in fairness id feel like a spa playing with it on a train or bus.

im 25 not 15, id only play with it and myself in bed. :Suck:

the PSP is the best thing out there until they make a phone that can do what it can or add a phone to the PSP. thats the only thing missing. just two weeks ago they added a fully functioning internet browser. I am leaving this post from the PSP. Sure the movie/DVD conversion stuff is a little difficult but only because it requires more than one step. With your gig card you can get a full movie at good quality, six or seven of MS's digweed sets, and a couple of pictures. I've been very impressed with it. You should learn how to use something before bashing it.

i have finnaly managed to do it but i am fairly decent on a comp .. totaly pathetic compared to others . but i couldn't find out through sony how to do it . i had to go to a hackers site to get the info . and then it was a huge amount of trickery for my feeble technical skills to master. my point is they were bigging up about it's capabilities but then made it hard as hell to utilise the "Your own films" bit so they could sell the udm discs films .. i just think that's realy damn sneaky

got sin city on it and it plays like a dream now .. took 1hr10 to get it on though
