VPN torrent issues

Just curious if anyone else has had any experience with using VPN's.. if I use a VPN location, even a state away, all of my trackers (does not matter which torrent software I use) all time out and I cannot download anything.

If I turn off the VPN, the torrent starts fine but utilizing my own IP at that point.

Anyone have any idea what the issue may be? Is there a setting somewhere that I am not checking? Frustrating :(

I am using Incognito VPN with Vuze or uTorrent on Windows 10.

I have tried searching online for help but getting no results.. its like nobody has had this problem before which is surprising.

Re: VPN torrent issues

Really strange, I use a VPN for eight years and I have never heard of such problems. Try to change suppliers ... I am currently using Ipredator and find it extremely good.

Re: VPN torrent issues

Does it have to do with the trackers you're using? Are they private trackers that require login, etc? That's what I can imagine.

Nope all public trackers with no login. It is quite strange as everything else internet related works (even the Android VPN software on my tablet) its only torrent programs that dont.

Also, I am using a USB wifi to my desktop since my router is downstairs, unsure if that is the cause. I have opened a ticket with the VPN software so we will see.

I do apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

As of now, we do not support Torrent. We are considering setting up a few servers, possibly in the future.

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with.
