Anyone here have any experience with photoshop? Primarily people not objects. If so do you know of any free sources that are easy to understand for learning how to use the software? Cheers

Re: Photoshop
Lulz.
Again depends what you want to do dude, For photo editing there is a heap of ebooks, and the likes out there. I downloaded some and I'll try and scourge some links. But if you want to do something pretty creative I'd suggest a short course. Max 3-4 weeks.

^Wow, it's that big of a beast isn't it. And thanks Jenks
Was thinking I could maybe sit down with a friend and have them show me what I needed to know, but I probably am better off just taking a damn class. cheers
Objective: learn how to photoshop headshots and portraits.
Re: Photoshop
Well, I bought some really straight forward software and between the 2 programs i think I'm covered. Far less complex than ps too.
Re: Photoshop
Ps is good, probably too good fro the average user, Gimp is software I use on the run lightweight and does nearly as mush as Ps just for photo manipulation (GIMP - Feature Overview).
They're always brining out updates and these guys bring out some awesome inclusions (but not always 100% stable) Gimp - Nightly Builds - Dark Refraction
