And even after 6 years, all we got for it was a Samsung rainbow rip-off theme. I've had the Beta 3 running on my iPhone 4 for the last week and while I will excuse the fact that it's a beta, I can't excuse the fact that being the 3rd beta, it's still pretty buggy. Especially the audio controls from the lock screen, which are inexcusably unreliable.
And other than multi-colors and lock-screen controls, it really brings nothing new to the table. Marketing at play, instead of building a new skin for it, let's call it a brand new "Flat" experience. Kinda like flat-bread pizza, it's still pizza.
