I'm not often stumped but I have a Chrome problem.

Either no one on the internets has this, or I'm not phrasing my queries right.

I have Chrome at home (A), and Chrome at work (B).

I duplicated my home profile to my work machine because the extensions between the two weren't synced.

However, ever since then, my work Chrome seems to think it's my home Chrome.

At work, when I click on Other Devices' Open Tabs, I should be able to see the open tabs on my home machine. Instead, because because my work machine thinks it's the home machine, it's now seeing old tabs from the work machine from a few days ago before I made this duplication.

Did that even make sense? :what

I didnt know tabs could be duplicated across different machines, heck I have a helluva time having PINNED tabs on the same machine to re-open upon reboot.

And now I feel like a toothless hillbilly for using Safari version 5.0.6

The tabs aren't duplicated across machines. You can see the open tabs on another machine if it's logged in with your Google account.

In your Settings, On start up, if you select 'Continue where I left off', all your tabs including Pinned tabs should reopen whenever you start up Chrome.

Re: I'm not often stumped but I have a Chrome problem.

This is really irritating me. I tried 'Stop and Clear' the sync data on my work machine in the hopes that re-enabling it will get it to work.

It didn't.

So both my home and work machine think they're the home machine. When I'm at work, I can't see the open tabs I have at home, when I'm home I can't see the open tabs I have from work.
