I need to move my wifes library - and i cant work out how the hell to do it.
assume i've got zero knowledge.

Goto your iTunes settings and look under Advanced. All of your stuff should be under iTunes Media Folder Location. That I think should be the top level dir to copy. Now you have to make sure if you dont have "copy files while adding to library" enabled your music might be scattered over the PC somewhere else and was just imported by dragging the music to itunes to make it show up. So make sure to ask her or look for that otherwise it wont be copied over.
