not taken the jump yet, it's such a massive departure from the traditional windows, that if I am going to make a jump of such magnitude, I think I'd rather jump to OSX before I do Win 8. I might however test install it on one of my old laptops just to shake a stick at it for a few days.

windows have been fly imo... really after a couple of days of using it you realize the only thing that has changed from windows 7 is that they have moved everything around and added a new screen that no one using a computer will probably ever use ( i still work from the desktop all the time )... i admit at first it seems like everything is completely different but its not, i think this is an attempt for existing costumers of microsoft's old products to be tempted to "learn" new skills but in reality all they have done is moved it around a bit... the reason i say that is i do a voluntary thing where i teach complete computer noobs the very basic computer skills and all we really need for that is windows xp but soon were going to have new people in who have recently bought a new laptop/desktop and of course we cant teach them how to use windows 8 on xp so i,m kinda saying this is an attempt to get all those xp veterans to upgrade

Still a xp admirer. Only recently moved to 7 and finding it pretty easy to use. I might wait for the surface to release as I really need a tablet with pc comparabilities. only then can I really judge 8.
