I didn't notice any marked improvement on my PC. Need to play around with it some more.

Maybe i had a prob with my old install although that was only a couple of months old. Do you use unity? Its definitely faster with launching apps and popping out from autohide it seems.

I haven't used my home PC as much as I used to now that I have my Motorola Xoom. I miss the poor fella :lol: It's still running 12.04, and what I've seen on the net makes it sound like there weren't a lot of noticable changes that were implemented.

The only one for me that stuck out for me is auto mount of partitions on boot ie: a data store

I have my partitions auto-mount through fstab anyways. Did they make this easier?

You dont even have to set it up, my storage partition just mounted when I first logged in.
