Need Some Help With my Setup

Everything was running fine. I had my M-Audio Fast Track Pro sound card plugged to my computer via USB and my rca cables ran from my 1&2 in my sound card outputs to my powered monitors. Worked great.

I recently got two CDJ's and a mixer. I now have the following setup:

My CDJ's wire to two of the four mixer channels. My powered speakers are hooked to the output of the mixer. I have my Fast Track Pro hooked to my computer via USB and the outputs from the Fast Track run to one of my mixer channels so I can hear stuff off my computer.

The CDJ's sound great but there is distortion on the channel my computer is hooked to. I switched things around to make sure it wasn't the mixer channel but the CDJ's sound fine on that particular channel.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Bad cables?

Re: Need Some Help With my Setup

It was the cables. I have cheap ones. I didn't realize cables made such a difference. Thanks.

Re: Need Some Help With my Setup

Analog cables will, digital cables you can go as cheap as you want.
