dude its been hotter than africa here for the last two months. actually i think the humidity is going to back off a little this weekend. thank God. thanks for the well wishes, it should be an amazing weekend.

Flawless weekend! Grand Bend came through for us BIG TIME once again. Nearly 500 people shuffled into CoCo?s on Saturday night and heard Brad Copeland and T. Dubya totally rock the joint.

T. opened with some sweet and sexy Progressive House. A huge crew of our old and new friends scattered the dance floor for this truly memorable birthday set. So fitting that Luke Fair?s ?Lokitas? was the track that really got everyone going as Luke has been a constant source of inspiration for Todd on his way back to the decks. These are definitely ?Better Days? for this old schooler who?s really starting to settle into his own kinda groove. I can?t wait till Todd jumps up to the main decks once again; at Back to the Beach he proved he?s got the skills and musical taste to be there.

Brad was the perfect headliner for this beachside bash. His humbled energy fit perfectly in the pawn shop atmosphere that is CoCo?s. Admittedly, there were periods of the entire night where it was difficult to get people inside from Coco?s phenomenal Main Street strip patio. However, as always, Brad lured the crowd onto the floor and into his serious party vibe, packing the dance floor for the last hour and a half of his set. Everyone was pumping fists, shaken butts and hollering for more. Thanks to the wicked Coco?s staff, we were given an extra half hour beyond their usual closing time, were in his encore trio Brad played one of my all-time favorites, Gus Gus ?David?. What a perfect way to end a perfect night!

I want to give everyone who attended this very special getwet entertainment / bringthebeats / wonderworld event a HUGE thank you. We understand the effort it takes to get to Grand Bend and appreciate your support so very much. Special thanks to Mick, Nancy, Dan and all the staff at CoCo?s for their wonderful hospitality.
