Re: Kate Simko & Chloe Harris 2012 Australian Tour

She's been my favorite progressive house dj for about a year now, I just can't get enough of Chloe's mixes :).

Whatever genre she fits into I don't know, she certainly was at one time a progressive house dj, of course her new style is completely different and not exactly my cup of tea either, but yah, whatever Chloe's style was from 2004 - 2010 I love.

Re: Kate Simko & Chloe Harris 2012 Australian Tour

I've never thought of her as a progressive house Dj. If I was going to tag her at all , which I am not, I would be definitely leaning more to tech . But she seems to be going the way of most of the Djs I like that don't let genre influence what they love and play. They incorporate it all. In fact I like the way she catorforises her tracks on soundcloud

Btw you do realise that you just totally contradicted yourself.

At no point in what I was saying did you understand what I meant by her new style did you?

Are you familiar with Raica Didi?

Re: Kate Simko & Chloe Harris 2012 Australian Tour

she has always been somewhat experimental imo. she def is unique and has a distinctive sound. very trippy at times. i hope you can go and hear her play didi.

I did get to see her once a long time ago at wmc. at that time she was still spinning vinyl. got to party a bit with her before hand too which was kool.

Re: Kate Simko & Chloe Harris 2012 Australian Tour

^^^ Spot on chuckc !!!! In fact a lot of her music on soundcloud is tagged as experimental.

Soooo, not a progressive house Dj . ;)

FO, I think you left your research a little late

Phew, Just a panic moment, I'm going to Europe in August, fortunately later in the month.

Re: Kate Simko & Chloe Harris 2012 Australian Tour

I've pretty well decided not to go, I'm really not into AV shows at all, the locals are not my favourites, and they have this attitude of not putting out set times  I would be going to hear Chloe , but don't know what time she in on. They have my money anyway  I'm more inclined to go to a local night that is on with one of my absolute favourites the night after , and I like the rest of the Djs that are on.

Plus. a week to go before I go to Europe, I've got heaps to do.

Re: Kate Simko & Chloe Harris 2012 Australian Tour

Didn't go, I would have if I knew she would be first up of the internationals  Apparently she was the only thing good about the night and she was great!!
