The eighteenth release of Italy's capsula takes a turn to more lush techno soundscapes without, of course, sacrificing any of the attitude and edginess which was prominent in previous outings. Newcomer Kernel Key opens up his debut EP on the label with "Flying Dog", a feel-good workout with sharp drums and intelligent programming. Luigi Madonna twists the original, offering a more dark and stripped down approach, which sneaks up to the unsuspected listener. Next up is the original mix of "Answer" which nods to the housier side of things, again featuring wonderfully programmed elements and clever arrangement. Tom Ellis shuffles and plods through a dubbier mix, with a serious drum vibe taking over. The EP closes with "Nozzle", again in an uplifting mood, showcasing Kernel Key's skills in production, while keeping it musical and downright bouncy.
