Composed in Portland (USA), 'Nitrogen Music' is the second release of Sage Taylor under his Textural Being moniker. Already known for some productions on Cold Fiction Music and for his first ambient album on Pronounce, a small independent label based in Detroit, Sage delivers here 4 new soft and melodic tracks. With a clever mix of hypnotic rhythms and arrangements, Sage adds a real richness to hypnotic dub-techno sounds and he reaches his goal perfectly: to create new compositions for people to zone out to. This release starts with 'Nitrogen Music', a not so binary track, carried by a generous and warm bass. 'Extended Winter' retains this idea of tranquility and enchantment, but through more sensitive and melodic sounds. 'Unrequited' is probably the most repetitive and the darkest moment of this EP, but this doesn't remove force and energy of this track… under high pressure! Finally, 'Forgotten' ends this musical journey with some more ambient inspirations and with more than 7 harmonious minutes, without drums and beats.
