Roughly one year after the first release on Outside the Box Music, [B]Nick Hogendoorn & Eelke Kleijn[/B] return to the label presenting their Mr. Pick EP. Having done tracks and remixes for labels such as [B]Global Underground, Baroque and Ork Recordings[/B] in the meantime, they are gradually but steadily building a solid name for themselves.
[B]Mr Pick[/B] evolves around a dissonant but catchy melody and bassline. Short vocal fragments and crunchy percussion are added while the track progresses. We can see this one being picked up for the mainroom sets.
[B]Dreiergruppe[/B] takes a more experimental direction, starting off with a groove somewhere in between breakbeats and triplets. It gradually flows towards a 4/4 beat being accompanied by haunting effects and clever rhythmic changes, following in the footsteps of Naked is Not OK.
