So what do you reckon? I heard them drop at Pacha opening party and it went down a storm, Erik Morillo or Darren Emerson even introduced it over the PA, and it had a really wicked response!

Anyhow, heard it for the first time since then on their recent Essential Mix and loved it, though I can see it having cross-over appeal because if its euphoric catchy style or least being overplayed, but generally thinks its an improvement on Flashdance 8)

so obviously no-one's heard it or if they have they just dont care enough.............

I imagine a few people on this site would see it as being a bit cheesy!

I think it's graet. When they fade into it after "Let's Get Ill" on their Creamfields set, I lose it.

It's wierd though, as the first half of the record seems sort of cheezy, then they break it down and bring it in with the vocals and it seems to get all "serious". Regardless, I think it's awesome and a great record to follow up Flashdance with.

I can see the crossover thing happening aswell, especially with the girls voice and the piano.

Re: Say Hello by Deep Dish

Love it. Heard it for the first time at Labour of Love in Toronto and again on the Essential Mix.

The 'serious" turn makes the record in my eyes. I'd expect to see a few mixes of this turning up before long.

In other news, there's a goddamn music video for flashdance. Check DD's website. I always thought Ali & Sharam had faces for radio, but I guess it could be worse. The could have arms growing out of their asses. Actually, I'm sure they'd put those to good use. Maybe add a fourth mkII or something.

Any word on a full release??
