Re:: Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal (Sultan & Tonedep
^^^ Haven't heard it yet. It will be quite interesting though to give it a listen :)
Seen that he played this on his gdjb mix but I have not heard it. How is it in ur opinion.
Sounds interesting!
I'm not too enthralled with the remix, although there a "Tribal House" remix of it which I do find myself playing alot. Very nice.
the track is awesome, sultan & tonedepth did a great job again :)
anybody know where/when the track will be released

And regarding The MJ remix of Smooth Criminal, well as you noticed that track was leaked as well so basically it will not get an official release. Its too bad cause the version leaked was intentionally mastered with a lot of high end so that if it did get leaked it wouldnt sound too great on a system. Funny how these days quality doesnt really matter that much anymore, its all about getting the latest music, unreleased music and promos for free if the track is available.
Too bad, I always smile when I listen to this bootleg in a mix I have... Michael Jackson has done this tribute to a girl called Annie, such a long time ago, I liked this idea of Tone Depth and Sultan to refresh it, for peaktime in afterhours. ...Annie are you ok....

really too bad. so the track will never be released at all or what?
Re:: Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal (Sultan & Tonedep
Absolutely stunning remix.. real heavy, sick basslines. Have been playing it a lot a while ago.
But as it is with all poppy remixes.. they start boring you after a while.
Although this will work in a club!
Re:: Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal (Sultan & Tonedep
CMD: it means if one day it's released it would be a "white label'.. also means the artists won't get paid for their work.
^^^^ now that's a shame. i still find it hard to believe that if they release that track it will not sell good. from what i heard that is the reasoning that goes, since the track is leaked... still, white label is still something...
don't forget it's a bootleg... and when it's out as 'white label' it's done without the autorization of the artist... If ever you hear about this MJ track on a WHITE Label... let me know please, I want it... collection piece.
it's a very nice deep bass driven track. And actually the high end doesn't seem to be too bad. I'd say it's as deep and dark driven as love in traffic

If ever you hear about this MJ track on a WHITE Label... let me know please, I want it... collection piece.
of course, i want it too. i love sultan's deep baselines, so i will be looking for that one in the future. regarding the white label, who is making those and who is distributing them? if it is without the authorization of the artist/producer then all those people are ivovled in piracy, right? if they are then how come you can find those white labels from the same places that are supposed to be part of the copyrighted distribution system??? its all about money for some people...
i wish people would stop remixing michael jackson. to be honest, i havent heard this remix, so it could actually be decent for my tastes. but i'm not holding my breath.
i'll send to you if you want.
^^^ or you can hear it on tonedepths mix on global dj broadcast on 02-aug-2004
