Acapellas with people talking, not singing.
Re:: Acapellas with people talking, not singing.
I would suggest looking at some records from SAW Recordsings, there's usually a lot of acapellas and tools included on their releases. Lexicon Ave. "Why R U Here" might be a good start, but chances are unlikely that you'll find something as catchy and as elaborate as the PQM acapella (that's why that track is so good!).
the words on the locodice track, phat dope shit, are up there with you are sleeping.. but nothing, i believe, will beat that.. if it does, i cant wait to hear it
Re:: Acapellas with people talking, not singing.
try www.acapellas.com
Danny Tenaglia - Elements (The Voice of God Acappella)
That's a terrific voice acapella for an intro, and one of my faves.
Good luck w/ your search.

Re:: Acapellas with people talking, not singing.
damn....
well if any of you know websites that have story albums, that will help us -- but every time i search i get nothing of any value...
these days all the acapellas are hiphop :Barf: :Barf: :Barf: :Barf: :Barf: :Barf:
I always thought that the acapella that Sander used for his WMC gig was ripped from a tune, the hi-hat that comes just after the voice and that combined with the looping over-and-over-and-over made me think that it was sampled from a tune.
Re:: Acapellas with people talking, not singing.
wmc ? which gig?...space, ultra? ...are u talking about the this is not miami sample?
I used to do google searches on "Kennedy Speech" or "Martin Luther King" speech or something REAL familiar like that.
It takes some digging but sometimes you'll be pointed to some random site that has gigs and gigs of soundbytes from movies, television, apollo moon landing, etc. etc....
That's where those "spoken word" clips come from...mid 1900's propoganda films and Public Service announcements.

no that accapella was lame...
his essential mix from 01, which won him best essential mix of the year, which was part of making him who he is now, which was all before he lost his sound... the acaepalla from 01
Re: Acapellas with people talking, not singing.
i guess ripping them from your favourite movies is too obivous? (al? zabiela)
Re: Acapellas with people talking, not singing.
Vintage educational films from the 50's & 60's have obscure sound bites that could be used for samples and accapella's. Lee Burridge - Do You Smoke Pot?, comes to mind. Wicked track!!
Re: Acapellas with people talking, not singing.
Sander '01 and '03 Essential mixes are great openers! Been looking for similar stuff like this... really great, same with his NuBreed cd. Doesn't have talking but a girls voice kinda singing with rain in the background, damn Anyone have any other Sander sets with similar intro's?

lex ve 'from dusk till down' and slightly after peace division 'seriously twisted' if what u mean is the CD called 'EM' released after the bbc EM of the year.
You should try Vek - Can't get it, I listened the voice from Filterheadz remix... It goes like: "I just can't get it in my mind" on and on, pretty ?la Lexicon Avenue - From Dusk 'Till Dawn.
Also you should try (as said in recent posts): Lexicon Avenue - Why R U Here.
Also, put attention to some parts of John Creamer and Stephane K - I Wish you Were Here, I think that's an easy acapella to find. Eddie Amador - House Music, G-Pal - Ocean of blue, Adam Freeland - We want your soul
Finally, listen to UNKLE - GDMFSOB, or, not so talked but singed, listen to the acapella of Age of Love - Age of Love (Wrecked Angel mix).
Hope it helped.
How about Underground Sound of lisbon - So Get Up..............
or Daft Punk - Revolution 909!
Jacks House - Let There Be House ( Acapella ) :Naughty:
On a side note, who knows what acapella Digital Witchcraft used on their mix (can't recall which one, should be up at hybridized though) between Soul Tan & Tone Depth ft. Stephanie Vezina - Broken and Planet Funk - Inside all the People (Harvey's sleepy ibiza remix) ?? Rox!
Creat your own then. Just take vocal parts in tracks and loop them through some kind of software program.
try this one: Louie 'Balo' Guzman - Guiding Light (Moon Dust Remix) or Louie 'Balo' Guzman - Guiding Light (Balo & Hopper's Space-A-Pella) excellent female vocal. was used by Deep Dish
Re: Acapellas with people talking, not singing.
Ubu - Pixels Soul Mekanik - I`ll Call You
Those two are one of my favourites... Cheers
2 Maxkra ...if it really doesn't matter.... ...money is one thing, sole is another. :)

Cheers mate..!
Re: Acapellas with people talking, not singing.
try UNKLE's 'Psyience fiction' 12th or 13th track, it has great acapella (lyrics: bla-bla-bla ... it was something about joy...) and deep sound to start with, but you'll have to start with a right deep tune after it
Re: Acapellas with people talking, not singing.
I've been looking for Tenaglia's Elements Acapella for 2 days now... I bought it on vinyl years ago but want a digital copy now... Anyone got it to send?
Re: Acapellas with people talking, not singing.
cant you just record it off of your record?
