The latest release on [URL="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1229"]Suffused[/URL] Music welcomes Matt G back to the label for a brand new EP. Hailing from Buenos Aires, the Argentinean artist last appeared on the Lithuanian imprint in March of this year with a remix of ‘Spook On’ by Vlada D’Shake. Also owning releases on Balkan Connection and Sudam Recordings, Matt now returns to [URL="http://www.mercuryserver.com/forums/djdb.php?id=1229"]Suffused[/URL] Music for his debut EP entitled ‘Bittersweet’.

Beginning with ‘[B]Heartbreaker[/B]’ you get an immediate sense of Matt’s cross pollinated style. Smooth and rhythmic, a set of luminous chords stabs runs over a tech house style framework as fresh vocal elements and drum fills advance the narrative. Also known as a vocalist, Matt drops one of his own during the break, full of soul and esoteric qualities, it perfectly sets up a pulsating conclusion.

The companion piece ‘[B]Stormy Nights[/B]’ boasts an even greater vocal narrative. Once again set against a cavernous groove and club friendly percussive, it’s the free flowing vocal storyboard which adds that unique touch. Rugged stabs and timely chimes provide additional magic before a serene break pushes the emotion higher, into a heartfelt third act finale.
