I'm hoping this is the right forum for this. But I have been noticing this record lable CDR on alot of tracklistings lately, great tunes, but I cant find this lable at any of the online stores I go to. Can anyone help me in locating a record shop that stocks this lable? And where is it based out of? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. cheers!

Taken from discogs.com:

CDR is a record label founded by the great electronic music pioneer Gustav van Lickensnatchen. Through perserverance and years of adversity Gustav made a name for himself in the progressive house music arena despite being born without lips or opposable thumbs. Many questioned whether van Lickensnatchen should even be considered a mammal but on June 18, 1972 he gave birth to live young and the question was laid to rest. Gustav has produced under the pseudos of: 'Bastard Lovechild', 'Eggheads for Life', and his most successful to-date '3 inch Triceratops'. CDR is sure to be a popular record label if Gustav's past individual success is any indication. Look for CDR's upcoming releases in 2004:

Blabersham & Luminous - Leaving Biloxi

Smart E's - Sesame's Treet (John Digweed Happy Meal Mix)

and

Luke Chable - untitled (he actually ran out of titles he's made so many tracks)

Cheers.

cdr - is a soulseek sub label...sweet :)

is it possible that he doesn't know what cd-r means ?

there is a tons of white labels realeased with that label you can even buy a whitelabel pack of 100,50,25 or 10 fresh as hell choons.. the only problem is that there no one have a plyer to play that choons (thats what makes them so unique)

people say that if u stand with a pack of cd-r choons ,freshly bought in the market,in the full moon they will all turn 2 the new unreleased digweed productions or bedrock future releases :)
