"Ditto and Robot Humour make their debut on Tulipa Recordings while swinging a burning sword into the night; They have carefully constructed a four track release that shines like the moon upon the still waters of a lake. These four tracks epitomize the essence of unique electronic music. They gracefully stay true to the heart of the Tulipa sound... deep, hypnotic, edgy, groovy, and forward thinking.
Foray begins with the title piece, a minimalistic affair with roomy layers, pitched-down vocals, and a portamento bassline. Down Periscope follows with an ambitious groove, angular atmospheres, and swelling drones. Next is Elephant, bringing tech-house elements structured around carefully arranged drops. Ending the EP is Au Fait, an aphotic techno track with gallant percussion and bold energy.
Foray is a dazzling display of tunes built for dance floor fervor. Ditto and Robot Humour are a welcomed addition to the Tulipa Recordings roster."
